A Beginner’s Guide to Quantum Healing Hypnosis
What is it?
Quantum Healing connects you directly with the vast universal wealth of information that your Higher Self always holds. You don’t have to resonate with the idea of a ‘Higher Self’ or a ‘soul’ for this to work, either. Many people replace ‘Higher Self’ with ‘subconscious mind’ and have equally powerful sessions with equally powerful results.
At the end of the day, a label is just a label. Call it what you’re comfortable calling it, but understand that it isn’t going to clash with any religious, spiritual, or scientific beliefs you might hold. I’m going to call it the ‘Higher Self.’
I like to use the Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo as an example of how we receive intuitive information from our Higher Selves. You don’t have to like her, but just hear my point. She often says that spirit is showing her a ‘tree’ for example (I’m making this one up), and that the tree is her symbol for [insert some symbolism here].
This is exactly how your Higher Self, your intuition, speaks to you. Not always in symbols or pictures, but in whispers, flashes, imagination, and insights. For those of us who don’t meditate much, it’s easy to confuse these insights with regular old thoughts, and it becomes really easy to dismiss the message altogether as something we just made up.

Hypnosis is nothing more than a state of heightened relaxation and focus. Everyone is capable of hypnosis, and most people do it regularly throughout the day without even realizing it.
Driving home after a long day at work and not recalling the route you took to get there.
Reading a good book and being immersed in the story.
Getting lost in a daydream.
Being absorbed in a great movie without paying much attention to the room in which you’re sitting.
Listening to a guided meditation in which you follow along with suggestions or visualizations.
Hypnosis is not:
Clucking like a chicken (I’m looking at you, stage hypnotists).
Forgetting who, or where you are.
Being out of control, mind-controlled, or under a spell.
Evil, dangerous, etc.
In the context of Quantum Healing, hypnosis allows you to hone in your focus and attention on that whisper or flash of intuition we were talking about earlier. It helps you to zoom in on what your Higher Self is trying to show you from its vantage point of universal perspective, giving those messages the spotlight for a change.
It’s where all the really good stuff is!
How Quantum Healing Helps
So you’re probably wondering what kind of awesome intel can be gleaned from tapping into this universal perspective. And the answer is really anything you could ever want to know. Any question you’ve ever had can be answered; any issue or trauma you’ve experienced can be understood, explained, and healed through the power of Quantum Healing Hypnosis.
Here are just a handful of common experiences:
Learning the root cause of physical ailments or other health issues and receiving advice for healing.
Getting a clear picture of life path and purpose.
Experiencing past, concurrent, or future lives.
Receiving personalized advice regarding diet, relationships, career, spiritual and personal development, etc.

What Does a Session Look Like?
Anything can happen in a session—after all, your Higher Self is running the show! But while the experience is different for everyone and each practitioner is unique, we can still draw a rough outline of the process from start to finish:
Step 1: Find a Practitioner with Whom You Resonate.
Just trust your gut! Find someone you like—it doesn’t matter why—and allow yourself to be open to their process, if it feels right. Your Higher Self communicates using the language of insight and imagination, but your emotions are your indicator of how in (or out of) alignment you are with your Higher Self. So pay attention to how you feel! If you’re feeling uneasy about a particular practitioner, recognize that as a symptom of being out of touch with your Higher Self. It doesn’t mean that there’s anything wrong with them; they’re just not in alignment with you and your path. So the key here is really to connect with the experience of how a practitioner feels to you, and follow the good vibes to your perfect match!
Step 2: Prepare a List of Questions
Take some time with this, because you’ll be drawing questions from the entire breadth of life. As soon as you’ve decided to book a session, keep a running list and add new questions as they come to you. Some practitioners prefer to limit the number of questions, but others (myself included) are pretty open with clients about the size of their lists. So don’t leave anything out, it can always be whittled down later if needed!
Step 3: Pre-Session Prep
Preparing yourself is never required, but always recommended. There are tons of things that you can do to make the most of your session, but if you were to choose only one I’d suggest starting (or expanding upon) a meditation routine. It’ll enhance your ability to focus, making it easier to differentiate between your inner voice and the Higher Self.
Preparing your space is something you’ll need to do if you’re having an online or distance session from home. You’ll want a quiet and comfy location with privacy, pillows and blankets, and washroom access. From a technical perspective you’ll also need a mic, headphones, and a webcam.
Step 4: The Pre-Session Interview
On the day of your session, most practitioners begin with a pre-session interview. This helps them to get to know you better, answer any questions you may have, and go over the questions that you prepared in advance. Some practitioners also use this time to create and set an intention based on your questions and goals for the session.
Step 5: The Induction
The hypnotic induction is where the session itself begins, and it’s often very similar to a guided meditation. You’ll be guided through relaxation and visualization exercises to help prepare for your session.
Step 5: The Session Itself
This is where anything at all can take place! You’ll begin to describe your surroundings while the practitioner helps to facilitate your experience by asking questions and guiding you through scenes. Many also incorporate an energetic healing element using hypnosis or other modalities if a natural opportunity arises.
When it makes sense to do so, the practitioner will begin addressing the Higher Self directly, and from your deeply relaxed state, the transition will feel natural. Here you’ll begin to get into the real meat and potatoes of your questions, as well as clarification on why it was important to see any specific scenes or lifetimes that may have come up earlier in the session. A skilled practitioner will help you to get as much practical advice and interesting information out of the experience as possible.
These explorations often last a few hours, but once your questions have been answered, you’ll be guided gently out of hypnosis and back into the room.
What Can Come Up in A Session?
The sky isn’t even the limit in terms of what can come up! Clients experience current-life memories, life between lives, lifetimes as extraterrestrial beings, inanimate objects, animals, peasants, kings, trees, rocks, non-physical entities, planets, dinosaurs, unicorns, pure source energy, and literally anything else you could (or couldn’t) possibly imagine.
Regardless of the type of scenes that you experience, they’ll always relate back to your questions and your intention in some way. I’m consistently amazed at how a lifetime or scene fits perfectly into the narrative of a session only after having been explained by the Higher Self.
